Welcome to the Masonic Temple, where Chris and Toren had the opportunity to present two 3-hour workshops put on by the Learning Institute of Santa Clara County. Members from the community, professionals seeking Continuing Education Credits, State and County prevention workers, staff from various treatment centers and Santa Clara University health and wellness counselors all attended.

After the morning workshop, a few educators, a counselor and a few youth stuck around to talk about alcohol and other drugs, and the impact that they are having on our communities. One of the young kids spoke up, saying, that a lot of inner-city are, in fact, looking for help and that some of them just need love, or to be exposed to the bigger world out there.

Not anyone can get a Visitors Pass to Andrew P. High School. But if you guessed that Mrs. Volkmann can, you didn't have to; the picture plainly shows that she can. After four presentations to various students there, Toren and Chris gave three presentations to Oak Grove High School Students as well. All the presentations were warmly received and followed with thoughtful questions from students.
