The Bacchus Network's 2006 General Assembly was held in Anahiem November 9-12th. Annually, it is the premiere conference focusing on student health issues and peer education programs for colleges and universities.
With nearly 1000 attendees at the conference, the exhibit hall floods with peer mentors, advisors, and wellness counselors. The Bacchus Network is divided into areas, based on region where each group of states has its own coordinators and regional conference.
Toren spent the greater part of two days speaking with students and counselors about his story as a campus binge drinker, what From Binge to Blackout offers colleges and what he speaks about when he presents for students at universities.
